Kalisher CCRC Internship – applications now open

With the support of the Kalisher Trust the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) is offering an internship, which will be available to those who completed the Bar course in 2021 or 2022. The internship, known as the “Kalisher Internship Award” will be for a period of 12 months, starting in October 2022. The CCRC deals with complex matters across a broad range of criminal cases and has dealt with some of the most serious miscarriages of justice of the last fifty years; the internship is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring criminal barristers seeking pupillage.

The annual salary will be £19,048, payable monthly.

Shortlisted candidates will be notified during week commencing 4th July 2022 and interviewed (by Microsoft Teams or similar) week commencing 11th July 2022.

The successful candidate will be notified of the outcome in late July 2022.  However, they will have to undergo the security vetting procedure applied to all CCRC employees, before their internship offer is confirmed.
