The Kalisher Trust is a legal charity which supports those who aspire to become criminal barristers. We seek talent no matter what the social or ethnic background, and, since our inception in 1996 have helped hundreds of young people, from those taking GCSEs to young barristers, as they work toward success in this most demanding profession.
A small team of unpaid trustees runs an extensive programme, which includes a dedicated education arm.
We offer bursaries and scholarships; internships at some of the legal world’s most prestigious organisations, an essay prize which is pound-for-word one of the most lucrative, and an intensive advocacy course which pushes and polishes to world class standards.
