Kalisher’s JUSTICE Intern selected for 2021-2022
We are delighted to announce that the Kalisher Trust’s Intern with JUSTICE for 2021-2022 has been selected. Rawaid Javed was successful in his application after another competitive selection process. Congratulations to Rawaid and we hope you enjoy your time with JUSTICE. JUSTICE are at the forefront of law reform and upholding access to justice, and provide an invaluable contribution to ongoing issues within the criminal justice system.
We asked Rawaid for his thoughts regarding the year ahead:
This is a fantastic opportunity for me to get a better understanding of the criminal justice system, to develop my legal skills and to boost my chances of obtaining a pupillage.
This internship offers me the ideal balance between the learning and on-the-job training, as well as the opportunity to pursue my interest in criminal law further. Due to the reputation of JUSTICE and Kalisher Trust, the completion of this internship will also be of great benefit to me in my search for pupillage. I have read the experiences/blogs of previous interns and genuinely believe this internship is the missing piece in my pupillage hunt. I am well aware of JUSTICE’s outstanding reputation for approachability and look forward to getting involved in such meaningful work.
